Setup Instructions: Assistance will be helpful for fitting.
Before installing, ensure the rifle or crossbow is safe. There are five parts to the tube accessory: 1st Buffer Tube Joint, 2nd Slide Bar Rod, 3rd Slide Bar, 4th Recoil Pad Slide, and 5th M-LOK Attachment.
Please read the instructions completely before beginning.
- Install the buffer tube to your receiver.
- Install the buffer tube joint clamp on the rear one inch of the tube.
- Next, attach the post rod to the slide bar. There is a center setting hole and an upper setting hole for maximum down drop. After you make your choice, install the post rod to the slide bar and tighten the post screw.
- Install the post rod into the joint clamp and lightly tighten.
- Next, install the recoil pad slide to the slide bar with post.
- Measure from the inside of your elbow to your knuckles. This measurement will be the length of pull (LOP) for now.
- For setting LOP, measure from the trigger out to the face of the recoil pad. Once LOP is obtained, tighten the lock screw on the tube joint to anchor the post rod firmly in place.
- Next, fit the Pit recoil pad while holding the buffer tube against the sweet spot on your cheek. Adjust the recoil pad slide down until the pad is snug in the sweet spot of the shoulder pocket. Keep your head in the upright position. Retighten the pad slide lock screw.
- Optional: Adjust the recoil pad angle cast left or right offset to fit your needs for comfort. Cast On and Cast Off allow the offset of the stock to be set from 1/2 inch to 2 inches, or by degrees, by adjusting the angle of the toe of the tube joint to the left or right to the shooter’s preferred fit.
- Once fit is obtained, fine tune and re-tighten all parts firmly. Do not over tighten. Setup completed. Enjoy.

The Perfect Cast
Empowered 2A
Cast is rarely discussed, but it is important. In simple terms, proper cast ensures both the heel (top) and toe (bottom) of the Air Tech butt pad are fully planted in your shoulder pocket at the necessary angle. This allows the tube to land against the cheekbone ledge anchor point, providing comfort with proper neutral head placement.
Offset gun stocks offer the ultimate in true user adjustability for a natural fit.
Customized fitting for a perfect cheek weld and faster target acquisition is ideal. An offset of a gun stock to the right or left, known as cast on or cast off, allows for proper and faster alignment of the sight picture. This helps shooters comfortably, quickly, and reliably acquire targets while maintaining a level eyesight picture. It also preserves the ability to adjust the recoil pad vertically and at an angle so it sits perfectly in the sweet spot of the shoulder pocket for your personal fit.
Heads Up. Eyes Level.
Cast Off
An offset of a gunstock to the right allows the line of sight to align comfortably with the right eye while the recoil pad rests securely in the right shoulder pocket. Most right-handed shooters benefit from a small amount of cast off. The correct setting is achieved when the firearm mounts naturally to the cheek weld while the recoil pad remains firmly positioned in the sweet spot of the shoulder pocket.
Cast On
A stock offset to the left is used for shooting from the left shoulder and is referred to as cast on.
C-1 Ambi Elite is the only rifle stock with cast settings on or off directly at the recoil pad, allowing a consistent and clean shoulder pocket fit time after time.
This design allows shooters to maintain speed and precision in rain or shine, though the final setup is entirely the shooter’s choice.
It is a firearm upgrade for anyone looking to improve target acquisition speed and overall accuracy.
It can also benefit shooters experiencing cervical spine pain, fusion, or limited neck mobility.
Rapid target spotting and acquisition become easier with proper ergonomic setup.
The Ambi Elite represents the ultimate in ergonomic design with virtually unlimited adjustability for achieving the perfect tube stock fit.
Adding a small amount of cast to the recoil pad can significantly improve point-of-aim alignment.
The user assumes responsibility for determining the correct setup.
Trust the truth. It’s the best.
